Our Rich History
The Austin Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on February 12, 1949, and has proudly served the Greater Austin community for over 75 years.
Our chapter continues the legacy of Kappa Alpha Psi, which was founded on January 5, 1911, at Indiana University. We uphold the fraternity's principles of achievement, brotherhood, and service through impactful programs that benefit both our members and the Austin community.
Known affectionately as the "Austin Nupes," our chapter emphasizes service, leadership, and community engagement, making a meaningful impact throughout Central Texas.
