​The Austin Alumni Chapter was chartered on February 12, 1949. Over our​​ more than 60-year history, the chapter has played an integral role in the Great Austin community. In addition to our commitment to honorable achievement in every human endeavor, the Austin Alumni Kappas have engaged in a variety of community service initiatives, including the awarding of scholarships to high school graduates in the Central Texas area, volunteering at the Capital Area Food Bank, and distributing dinners to families during the Thanksgiving holiday. We have also participated in a number of community-wide activities such as the Relay for Life, Coats for Kids, and annual MLK Day march.
